2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Rear 6.5" Drop Coils
These Trekline rear lowering coils provide the 2009-2018 Ram 1500 with an approximately 6.5-inch rear drop using purpose-built replacement springs. This is a deep-drop coil setup, so the supporting rear suspension geometry parts need to be installed with the coils.

Required Supporting Hardware for 5"+ Rear Drops:
- 2009-2018 Ram 1500 Rear 4-Link Relocation Bracket Kit - 5"+ Drop Cut Kit — required for the 5-inch-and-deeper rear coil applications to correct the 4-link geometry.
- 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Rear Track Bar Re-Locator Bracket Kit — required supporting hardware to correct the track-bar mounting position at the lowered ride height.
Additional Clearance Check:
Some 2013+ Ram 1500 extended-cab trucks with the 140.5-inch wheelbase and a one-piece driveshaft may also need additional rear cross-member clearance. For those applications, use the appropriate Trekline notch hardware:
Important Fitment & Installation Notes:
- Fits the listed 2WD and 4WD trucks, including 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Body; does not apply to the 2019 New Body Style.
- Use rear shocks matched to the lowered ride height.
- Verify bump-stop clearance, brake-hose slack, driveline angles, driveshaft/cross-member clearance and tire/body clearance after installation.
- The advertised drop is referenced from factory-stock OEM ride height; worn or sagged original springs can change the measured drop from the vehicle's current height.
Why use purpose-built rear lowering coils? A matched drop spring keeps the coil shape and spring behavior controlled for the intended lower ride height, providing a more predictable foundation than cutting or heating factory springs.
