1973-1987 Chevrolet C10 2WD 6"/7-8" Drop Spindle, Coil & Shackle Kit - 1.25" Rotors + Shocks
For the most aggressive C10 stance in this group, this 6/7-8 package combines spindle-and-coil lowering up front with a rear flip and adjustable drop shackles.
This is the 1.25-inch rotor spindle version. Measure the front rotor thickness before ordering; the 1.00-inch and 1.25-inch spindle versions are different applications and should not be substituted for one another. The six-inch front reduction is achieved as a system: approximately three inches from the drop spindles plus three inches from the lowering coils. The rear drop is adjustable from approximately seven to eight inches by selecting the appropriate shackle mounting position after the six-inch flip is installed. This version includes matched drop shocks for both ends, reducing the number of separate suspension pieces needed to finish the lowering package. Because the rear is lowered six inches or more, frame clearance must be addressed with a C-notch before the truck is driven.

Important Fitment & Installation Notes:
- Front and rear drop shocks are included, matching shock travel to the lowered suspension combination supplied in this kit.
- A rear C-notch is required for adequate axle-to-frame clearance at this drop and is not included with this SKU.
- Rotor check: this SKU is for 1.25-inch-thick front rotors. Measure before ordering.
- Trekline notes that some 15-inch wheel combinations may require lower-control-arm grinding for adequate spindle/wheel clearance. Check the complete wheel, tire and suspension package during installation.
- Perform a professional alignment after installation and verify steering clearance, brake-hose routing, bump-stop clearance, shock travel and fastener torque before regular road use.
- Lowering amounts are referenced from stock OEM ride height; worn springs, prior suspension modifications or existing sag can change the measured result.
