1988-1991 Chevrolet C1500 2WD Standard Cab 4"/7" Spindle + Coil Lowering Kit

This Trekline package is configured around the Chevrolet C1500 suspension so the front lowering method, rear drop hardware and supporting components work as one setup.

This is the dedicated 1988-1991 Standard Cab version. Trekline separates these trucks from its broader 1988-1998 C1500 kits, so this SKU should not be substituted with a 1300-series kit.

Kit Contents:

  • 2-inch front drop spindles (pair)
  • 2-inch front lowering coils (pair)
  • 6-inch rear axle flip kit
  • 1-2 inch adjustable rear drop shackles

Vehicle Fitment:

  • 1988-1991 Chevrolet C1500 2WD Standard Cab only

Important Fitment & Installation Notes:

  • Cab fitment: 1988-1991 Chevrolet C1500 2WD Standard Cab only. Do not use on Extended Cab trucks or 1992+ models.
  • Brake rotor check: the Standard Cab spindle application is associated with the 1.00-inch front rotor setup. Measure rotor thickness and verify the complete brake/spindle configuration before ordering.
  • Drop shocks are not included. Select shocks with travel appropriate for the final lowered ride height; deeper rear drops generally require shorter shocks.
  • A C-notch is not included with this SKU. Verify axle-to-frame clearance at full compression; a notch may be required or strongly recommended depending on final ride height and use.
  • Inspect driveshaft operating angle after lowering. Trucks with a 2-piece driveshaft may need carrier-bearing geometry correction depending on the final setup.
  • Measure the truck before ordering. Lowering amounts are referenced from stock OEM ride height, so worn springs or previous suspension changes can affect the measured result.
  • Perform a professional alignment after installation and verify wheel/tire clearance, brake-hose routing, bump-stop clearance, shock travel and fastener torque before regular road use.
