1997-2002 Ford Expedition 4WD Torsion Bar Unloading Tool
This Trekline Motorsports torsion bar unloading tool is designed to safely unload and reload the torsion key during suspension service, including torsion-key replacement, lowering-key installation and other work that requires the factory torsion bar to be released from tension.
Why the correct tool matters: A loaded torsion bar stores substantial energy. Using a purpose-built unloading tool gives the installer a controlled way to relieve and reapply that load instead of relying on improvised clamps or pullers.
