1997-2004 Dodge Dakota 4WD Only 1"-2" Rear Drop Shackles
Trekline Motorsports rear lowering shackles give the 1997-2004 Dodge Dakota 4WD a clean, bolt-on way to reduce rear ride height while retaining the factory leaf-spring layout. The vehicle-specific shackle geometry provides approximately 1-2 inches of rear drop, depending on the mounting position where adjustable, and uses rubber-encased bushings for quiet, low-maintenance operation.

Important Fitment & Installation Notes:
- 4WD ONLY. Do not use on 2WD Dakota models; Trekline 8000424 is the 2WD 2-inch application.
- Installs in place of the factory rear leaf-spring shackles; inspect factory bolts and spring-eye bushings during installation.
- After lowering, verify shock travel, bump-stop clearance, brake-line slack, driveline clearance and tire-to-body clearance before road use.
- Actual ride-height change can vary slightly with spring condition, vehicle weight and existing suspension modifications.
