Lower the front of your torsion-bar-equipped truck or SUV with Trekline Motorsports forged lowering torsion keys. These keys reindex the factory torsion bar to provide additional front drop beyond the adjustment range of the stock key while retaining a purpose-built forged component.

Torsion Bar Unloading Tool Recommended
These lowering torsion keys are installed under torsion-bar spring load. A properly fitted torsion bar unloading tool is strongly recommended to safely unload the factory key, install the new lowering key, and reload the torsion bar in a controlled manner.
Shop Torsion Bar Unloading Tools
Select the unloading tool that matches your vehicle application. Do not substitute an ordinary C-clamp or generic puller for a purpose-built torsion key unloading tool.
Important Fitment & Installation Notes:
- Torsion-bar suspension only. Does not fit coil-spring front suspension applications.
- Shorter front shocks are recommended after lowering to maintain proper shock travel.
- A proper torsion-bar unloading tool is strongly recommended for safe removal and installation of the keys.
- Final ride height can vary with vehicle weight, torsion-bar condition and existing suspension setup.
- Have the front alignment checked after installation and ride-height adjustment.
Why forged keys? Forged torsion keys are produced for strength and durability under torsion-bar load, making them a better foundation for a properly lowered front suspension than modifying or over-adjusting factory components.
